Foliu is built by Voltzones Bilisim Teknolojileri. We believe your documents are yours and your data should stay that way. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and how you stay in control.

What we collect

Anonymous usage analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people use Foliu. This includes things like which features are used, how often, and general app navigation patterns. All data is anonymous. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any information that could identify you.

PostHog data is processed on EU servers (Frankfurt). Your analytics data does not leave the European Union.

Crash diagnostics

We use Sentry to detect and fix crashes. When the app crashes, a diagnostic report is sent that includes device model, OS version, and the technical details of the crash. No personal data is included.

Sentry data is ingested through their DE (Germany) endpoint.

Donation processing

If you choose to support Foliu with a donation, we use RevenueCat to process the transaction through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not see or store your payment information. Apple handles all billing. Donations are entirely optional and do not unlock any features (everything is already free).

What we do not collect

• ✗ Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• ✗ Your documents, PDFs, or extracted images
• ✗ Your location
• ✗ Your contacts, photos, or any on-device data
• ✗ Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data

Foliu does not track you. We do not sell data. We do not share data with advertisers. There is no account system and no sign-up required.

Your controls

You can opt out of analytics and crash reporting at any time in Foliu's Settings. When you opt out, PostHog and Sentry stop collecting data immediately. No questions asked.

Your documents stay on your device

All PDF processing happens locally on your iPhone. Your documents are never uploaded to any server. Extracted images are saved only where you choose (Photos, Files, or Share).

Children's privacy

Foliu does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal information from any user, there is no age-specific data concern.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the changes here and update the date above. For significant changes, we may also include a note in the app.
